Freedom tastes different this year 💃🏼
Muddle 4 to 5 ripe blackberries. Add 2-3 jalapeño slices (more if you like it hotter🔥), 1/2 oz Mezcal (I used Montelobos, which is fairly produced and sustainably grown 👏🏻), 1 oz Tequila (I used 123 Organic Blanco Tequila), 1/2 oz amaro (I used Lofi Aperitifs Gentian Amaro), 3/4 oz simple syrup or agave (I used Wholesome Sweeteners’ sugar-free allulose syrup), 1 oz lime juice (use slightly less, around 1/2-3/4 oz, if blackberries are very tart) and shake with ice. Serve in a coupe glass or over ice and garnish with an edible flower 🌹
To make this non-alcoholic replace the Mezcal and Tequila with 1 1/2 oz Seedlip Grove 42 and replace the amaro with 1/2 oz Dhos Spirits bittersweet 🍹
